| Emilia in Turin commissioned me to paint this panel
for her hall. Her requirements included a cheetah sitting upright
and two cubs, with a warm colour scheme, the sky to be created using
sunset colours. The other considerations for the design of the panel
were suitability for a variety of locations should Emilia move house
or simply move the panel and a large terracotta pot that currently
stands in the hall. The terracotta pot in its present location will
stand in front of the bottom right portion of the panel. |
