Trompe l'oeil of large window and landscape

Jill and Pat added a conservatory to their kitchen and asked me
to add a landscape scene to the wall area that faced the sofa. I
painted a view as if seen through a glazed window identical to the
adjoining conservatory door. Everything on this wall section is
created with paint - the glazing bars, the garden container, plant,
drive way and landscape. Elements of the real garden such as the
gravel, the garden wall and the container were included to help
the illusion.
The floor to ceiling window trompe l'oeil is on one side of the
open doorway to the kitchen. There is a smaller wall section between
the other side of the doorway and the conservatory window, I also
painted this area to continue the real windows and give the effect
of the landscape surrounding the conservatory.
